    Hi @andrewmcclellan,

Glad you reached out! Happy to help with this one.

Sorry for the slow turnaround here as well.

Based on your first error in your previous inquiry, can you try this SQL code?

ALTER TABLE wp_give_donors ADD COLUMN phone varchar(50) NOT NULL DEFAULT '' AFTER name

You can run this on your phpMyAdmin or a database plugin.

Before taking any steps for troubleshooting or updating, I highly recommend taking a good backup of the site you can confidently restore from. Having a backup of your site is essential to a solid workflow, and will allow you to restore to a previous version of the site if you run into any issues. You can read more about our top recommendations for taking a backup here: https://givewp.com/backup-for-faster-troubleshooting/.

You might also want to try this one first on a staging site first and see if it resolves your issue.

If that doesn’t solve it, we would like to dig deeper to understand what is happening.

Can you reach out to us via our contact form at https://givewp.com/contact-us/? Use the option that says, “I am responding to a request to contact you.”

Provide the link to this thread as context, your system info, etc. and we will happily help you.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

    I’m always happy to help!

    Hi @andrewmcclellan ,

It’s been a while since we’ve heard back, and I know troubleshooting needs a little extra time. I’m marking this as resolved for now, but if you still have questions, you can send them along right here, and I’ll be happy to hop back in.

    Have a great day!
