    Hi Payment Plugins team,

I hope you are well. Some of our customers’ subscription renewal payments have been failing due to this error: “Recurring payment failed. Reason: Request is not well-formed, syntactically incorrect, or violates schema.”

Here is a link to our wc-ppcp log file for today (October 28). Our website is homeschoolplanet.com. The issue seems to have something to do with the payment source token.

Thanks so much for your help!

    Best regards,
    Cooper Walter

    Hi @cooperhsp

Were you previously using another PayPal plugin when these subscriptions were created? Based on the logs it looks to me like this subscription was created using another PayPal plugin and our plugin is attempting to process the renewal using it’s known parameters.

We have a release scheduled for this week that handles more conversion cases for the scenario where other PayPal plugins were used prior to switching to our plugin.

    Kind Regards

    Hi Payment Plugins,

Thank you for your speedy response! We appreciate the great support we get from Payment Plugins. You are right. That subscription was probably made with WooCommerce’s PayPal plugin.

That is excellent news. We will await your update.

    Best,
    Cooper

    Hi @cooperhsp

Can you submit a support request here? It would be very helpful to have you test this latest version before public release.

    Kind Regards

Sure thing! I’ll submit a support request right now.

Didn’t see the request come through. You can always submit from within the plugin’s support page as well.
