    Hi,

I’ve been facing an issue with WooCommerce for quite some time. I receive an email at the admin mailbox stating that an order placed on my store has failed. However, right next to that email, there’s also a successful order confirmation with the same order ID.

It’s quite strange because if there were an issue with the card or on the customer’s side, I don’t believe the payment would succeed at exactly the same time with the same order number.

Could you help me figure out what might be causing this issue? and how to resolve this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @abbasskhan786

This issue can occur when a customer initially faces a problem during the payment process but then successfully completes the transaction in a subsequent attempt. WooCommerce automatically generates a “failed order” email for the initial unsuccessful attempt and a “successful order” email for the successful transaction. Both emails will carry the same order ID because they are linked to the same purchase attempt.

However, if you’re consistently seeing this issue, it might be worth checking your payment gateway settings. For a better understanding, can you please share a full-page screenshot of that order? Feel free to hide all the private information before sending it over.

For screenshots, I recommend https://snipboard.io/ for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL(s) in your reply.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
