re: Authors support website took more than eleven minutes to load, then failed to respond when clicking links, numerous times.

I monitor my site response time and uptime. The average response time (TTFB) is about 375ms with an average load time of about 2–3 seconds. Perhaps a local firewall was blocking your access? Hundred of others over the weekend seemed to have no trouble at all connecting.

Those are the exact links I have tried. Just tried again, pages not loading. I have no firewall activated. No worries, I found an alternate plugin that does the job.

This must be an issue on your end… sounds like something is blocking or preventing connections to the website. The site has been up and running with zero down time. The worst response time over the weekend was about 2secs for roughly a 5–10min period of time. If I had to guess, page load time was have been 5–10secs which would be long but nothing like you’ve described. There have been thousands of page-views by hundreds of others (typical traffic, especially since I released an update this past weekend).
