Failed login attempts when login url has been changed?

    Hi @thinkwired,
    I don’t think they are actually reaching your login page.
    Most probably a bot is firing xml/rpc requests at your server. Have you enabled the “pingback protection” feature in the firewall menu? (that should stop the xml/rpc queries)

    I think one of the most recent updates disabled this option. I’m sure I had it enabled across all my installations and yet it is now unchecked on all of them.

    As far as I can remember there was nothing in the last update which would disable that option.

    Can you try enabling it again?

    I might have been a couple of versions behind. Not sure if that matters.

    As soon as I enabled it, the notifications stopped. I hadn’t received these notifications for a number of months so, I know the option WAS previously checked.
