    Hello,
Overall I am very happy with Peepso but I have been having an ongoing issue for the few past months where subscribers and also myself have been getting failed login attempts. i increased the login attempts and it is still happening even when people are not trying to login. I is creating a very bad user experience. I’m not sure if it is Peepso directly or if something isn’t working properly with Peepso that is making it send these failed login attempts. Could I get someone to look into this issue for me?

Most likely you have been targeted by a script trying to break into your website.

I’d suggest forcing users to use emails to log in (instead of usernames) it makes harder for the attackers to guess.

Otherwise you can disable the email notifications for that feature or turn it off completely and use something like WordFence instead.

How would I force them to use emails? I thought that was already enabled. I turned off the email alerts for brute force but I don’t like the fact that that makes my website more susceptible to those types of attacks now. Any idea of how I can reinforce the website through the plugin?.
