Failed integration with MailPoet

Hey Brandon, I’m using the Genesis eNews Extended pluging which is great.

I would like to integrate MailPoet with your plugin, but users subscribing do NOT get any message.
They get the emails to confirm the subscription, and they get registered in the mailing list I created in MailPoet, but when they click on Sign Up the page refreshes and there’s nothing on the website, or in the widget, that informs users the subscription worked and a confirmation email has been sent.

The default text the MailPoet built-in form displays after a user signs up is “Check your inbox now to confirm your subscription.”, but this message does NOT appear when I use the Genesis eNews Extended widget instead of the MailPoet widget.
