• I tested version 0.0.2 successfully from firefox 58 on a windows 10 laptop and Safari on an ios 11.2.5 iPad.
But from Chrome on an Android 4.4 phone the checkbox was ticked without a challenge. But note I also got exactly the same result for the “Advanced noCaptcha reCaptcha” plugin. So perhaps there is a setting on my phone that is wrong. However, whereever the fault lies, the captcha should default to fail and not pass imho.
For now I have reverted to a simpler captcha plugin. But I would be happy to test a bug fix, or see an explanation.

Updated review to 5* after discussion – assume google knows my phone identity and therefore recaptcha does not challenge.

    Hi,

this plugin uses google no captha recaptcha. Google usually ticks the checkbox without a challenge, it’s in their code. They show challenge when they suspect a robot.
To simulate this go to your android device and tick the checkbox multiple times, eventually they will think a robot is trying to submit form, and the challenge will appear.
    Plugin works ok.

    Thank you

    Hei,

I tried your suggestion to tick the checkbox multiple times. Still I never received a challenge.

I then tested a theory that google “knows who i am” on my phone, by trying to login as a different user than the one known to my wordpress account. Still I never got a challenge. However I cannot be sure that my identity was truly unknown to google. So I am prepared to accept google knows my phone identity, and this is sufficient for recaptcha code not to issue a challenge.
