    As of yesterday, around 4 PM GMT +1, i noticed a high increase in SMTP delivery error emails in my inbox. It appears many of my emails are getting a delivery error, while 30% or so get delivered. I don’t recon any updates that were done or plugins modified/added.

    If i attempt to resend the failed emails, they either fail again, or get delivered right away (even if they fail again).

    All of these errors read under email logs as:
    Code: , Message: , Body:

    The rest of it is empty. Sometimes when i send a test email to myself, it also fails.

    I’m using Post SMTP with Sendgrid. The Post SMTP plugin was at first the free version, but now i’ve upgraded it to paid version. I’ve also updated all my plugins on the website and the theme, but it did not help. The website is hosted by Kinsta, but they told me that the email sending is not affected in any way by them.

    I also contacted Sendgrid and they did something called a Telnet Test, which was successful. The emails that receive the failed status, never show up on sendgrid at all, and they told me everything is working on their end.

    …I also paid for Post SMTP technical support, however after their contacted me about being available today, they never got back to me…

    Since this is a critical issue for my company, does someone have any ideas what to do next?

    Sorry to hear regarding your recent case. As per SendGrid status report they were facing some issues in their mailing servers.

    ?? Also we have a good news for you. POST SMTP has recently launched its?Mobile App?to get instant email failure notifications and view all sent email history from your smartphone. You can give it a try, and do let us know your feedback.

    Unfortunately this is not fixed, my email delivery is extremely bad and the same issue continues. The plugin fails to deliver 70% of emails to Sendgrid.

    Also, why did you change this to resolved status without first confirming with the post creator if the issue was resolved?

    @raivos, no worries. Just turned the status to not resolved for you.
    For your information the SendGrid team is still facing server delays on some of their servers

    So still there is probability that some of your emails may fail. For the time being I suggest to switch to some other mailing service (preferably Brevo) which you can setup in few mins with POST SMTP.

    Our support team is already connected with you to assist and resolve your case. But we can not help much if the service itself is down.

    I’ve fixed this issue by deleting the plugin and using a different one. Immediately the next 70 emails got a successful delivery and all show up under the Sendgrid too.

    Disabling all other plugins on my website did not solve this, so there is something wrong with the Post SMTP plugin itself.

    If possible please delete this post or the content of my first post – i can no longer edit it for some reason.

    Thank you for your response. We have attempted to reproduce this case on multiple staging websites, but we haven’t encountered the same issue. It appears that the problem might be specific to your website, possibly related to the theme or some form of conflict.
