Trying to import a php5 database into php7 database caused huge problem. There was some kind of memory leak and it just used up as much server space as possible. It stopped it at 20gb. The actual database itself was only 70mb uncompressed.

Except for this issue, the plugin would have been perfect. Do let me know if you have any thoughts about it.

    Hi treeflips,

Is the plugin hanging at “Restoring database” on import?
If so, can you try to open a new browser tab of your website to see if there is an error?

You can send us the error to support at servmask.com so that we can take a closer look.

Yes, that’s exactly where it was hanging! Please tell me where to go on the server to delete the giant temporary file.

I did finally get the backup working, btw. I simply exported again without database and then manually imported it.

    Hi Johnny

The /wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/storage folder contains the error log and any files that fail on import.

    Kind regards

    Thanks Pim & Lesley,

I’ve cleared out the entire website directory and the space is still not given back. Where else could this thing be eating up space?

    Hey ladies,

I apologize. I had so many installations across my server, I lost track of them. Found a 50gb error log in exactly the storage folder you listed.

Thank you for the great plugin and incredible support! <3

Glad to hear that you have it sorted out.

    Cheers
