Failed connecting to the FTP server

  • Hi! I’m seeing this issue “Failed connecting to the FTP server, please check FTP host and port” after system scan is done. The FTP setting works when I use other software such as Filezilla so I’m not sure what could be wrong. I saw another user having this issue about 8 months ago. Has this been fixed please? Thank you!

    I have used another plugin instead and managed to clone my site successfully.

    I ran into the same issue.
    I think this may be related to accepting a certificate error from the ftp server. If the certificate is in the host name you can accept it with filezilla but there is no opportunity here and you are left with no connection.
