• After updating to the new version, 2020.1, I was not able to save a post, edit a post, log off, or log on in another browser. I had to use FTP to rename the plugin folder to deactivate it. Then I was able to log on and off my website and make posts. Very unhappy that I have to retype the long post I had done because this plugin wouldn’t let me save when I was logged in but had updated the plugin.

I am deleting this plugin from all six of my websites.

  • Hi @sleeplessindc, I am very sorry for the predicament I put you in. I will be much more thorough in my future testing. The fix is in place if you change your mind. You can email me at [email protected]. I have put several weeks into updates to the plugin to bring even more features and a last minute change to inform people to clear their browser cache broke the whole thing. I would ask that you reconsider your rating if you choose to continue using the plugin.

I must report I had the same issue as sleeplessinDC. Had to go in and change the name of the Plugin before I was able to open WordPress. Once in I deleted Stop Spammers and was now able to login in to WordPress again via my account with Aplus Hosting. Not sure what happened with the latest update but never had any issues until this current update.
