Fade transition not working correctly

    Hi

    I want to use he fade effect between slides but at the moment it’s looking very rough.

    When the transition starts the new slide comes in in the background at full opacity and the current slide fades out from the foreground. It makes for quite a jarring and messy effect.

    As far as I understand it the expected behaviour is for one to start fading out as the other fades in.

    Any idea how I can fix this please?

    Sorry, it turned out there was no ‘problem’, it was just me expecting that choosing ‘Fade’ would fade from one image to the other.

    Once I chose ‘Crossfade’ it did what I was expecting ‘Fade’ to do.

    Wonderful!

    Yes, the “Fade” is working that way that fades the “next” slide only, then when it’s finished, hides the “old” one.
    The “crossfade” fades in the “next” image while at the same time, fades out the “old” slide.
