Fade-in Fade-out Text Widget

  • Can any clever soul here recommend a fade-in, fade-out text widget?

    This would be to present a WP sidebar item that just displays a few lines of html-formatted text, one item at a time, fading in and out.

    When I search for such a plugin, all I can find is one (gogi) that insists every piece of text has an associated URL link.

    Perhaps I should just use an html block and programme that internally to do the text fading.
