Fade effect problem

Hi,
I have a simple problem, using fade, the first image disappears and then the second one fades in… In the demo it does a cross fade, but I don’t know why the basic slideshows that I am setting up don’t work the same way…It does the same with other transitions as well, using the slideInLeft, the first image disappears completely and then the second image slides in… It doesn’t look so nice at all ??
