@jeherve Like other threads that have gone through before creating this as instructed.. I started experiencing difficulties with my blog images.. Though I can upload new images.. But my previous images are no more showing after I activate photon.. Now all my images have disappeared.. I have to update some posts yesterday so that my blog won’t look dull.
. But I can’t update all my posts.. See this and this is my Image Gallery.. I will be glad to get all this images back.

  • @mouslat – could you please check to see if your images are still on your server via FTP and if so can you please download the images from your media library and check if they are displaying correctly?

Actually I don’t usually use the https://ftp..but if you don’t mind I can give you the access.. All the images are broken..

    Hello Mouslat,

Can you please tell me when you get the issue ?

I am also using Jetpack plugin, but want to disable that photon feature. I want to know if i will disable that then will it effect the images which are currently working on website ?

    Thanks

Yeah David.. It will surely have effect on your image because I noticed that whenever I disabled the photon feature.. My images will also disappear.. All my previous images before I started using photon are broke now..
I will advice you not to disabled it if you don’t want to lose your images..

    Regards
    Mouslat

@mouslat – You’ll have to login to the FTP server to check if your images do actually exist still on your server or not. Jetpack doesn’t delete images regardless of whether Photon is enabled or disabled. If you want you can reach out to us via our contact form so that we can organise a secure way for you to share your FTP details with us:

    Contact form.

Don’t forget to mention the URL of this thread in the body of your content.

@davidmiller1989 – This isn’t how Jetpack behaves, your local images won’t be deleted regardless of whether Photon is enabled or disabled. The OP’s issue is very likely unrelated to Photon, the issue only came up because when Photon is switched off, there needs to be images that your site falls back to.

@lamdayap thanks for your support.. I think contacting you will be the best option.. Thanks for suggesting that.

    Hi there,

Sorry for butting in, but please don’t ask for, or offer up, access to your installation (be this FTP credentials, WordPress admin ones or any other kind of restricted access privileges). We don’t allow that kind of interaction on the forums (See our Forum Guidelines section about this).

Ah! Thanks for the reminder @clorith
