Hello PMPro team, I hope you are doing awesome.

Firstly, I want to thank you from my heart for creating this awesome plugin for us. Sometimes I want to invest in premium plans of this plugin but something is holding me.

Secondly, I want to complain to you for making a complex(yet powerful) plugin. I am scratching my head for more than a month and yet still have not found a way to create three simple membership plans. ??

    I am describing this below:

I just want three membership plans, like Standard, Plus, Builder.

I have an educational site and have a lot of Educational Posts with concerned categories like Hindi, English, Maths, Current Affairs, Science, General Studies, Short Stories, Programming and Computer etc.

I want to offer these contents in various plans.

I want to divide those content into these three membership plans.
    Like:
Content belonging to Short Stories, Computer, and Hindi Categories will be available only to Standard Plans subscribers.

Content belonging to English, Maths, and Science Categories will be available only to Plus Plans subscribers.

Content belonging to Current Affairs, Programming and General Studies Categories will be available only to Builder Plans subscribers.

Now, If any subscriber purchases Plus plan membership, all content available in Standard Plan should also be available to him. I mean When any person purchases plus plan membership, he should also be able to read content available in the standard plan. Because guess, If any member purchases the Plus plan but is not able to read the content of the standard plan, he would really be pissed. Similarly, If anyone purchases a Builder plan, he should also be able to read content available in Standard and Plus membership plans.

Another example of what I want to say is I want to create membership levels like your website where all contents available in the standard plan are also available to Plus plan subscribers. Similarly, all content available in Standard and Plus Plans is also available to Builder plan subscribers.

Please take your time and explain it in detail. Because my brain is really exploding because I am not able to figure this out.

    Again, Thank you !!!!!!

    Hello @yogeshbhola890,

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

Your pages or post can be protected in two different ways.
Each Level lets you protect by category (selected on the levels set up page).
    Or
Each individual post/page uses the “Required Memberships” check box to the right of your post or page.
    https://ibb.co/cQgv9TR

You would “check” the boxes to define what levels can access your content.
Check ALL levels that have access to the content.

By default, do not have a feature to “inherit” content from another level, although it is possible with custom development.

I hope this helps you to get started. Here is a document and video on setting up levels.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions about setting up your level access.

Interesting. Can, say, Level 1 give access to 1 random category chosen by the member from a list, then Level 2 give access to 2 categories chosen by the member from a list, and so on?

@mothy5000 thank you for your patience with this thread. This is not possible with Paid Memberships Pro, but you may customize it further to achieve this.

If you need help customizing your membership site, I recommend that you reach out to a local WordPress developer or post on https://jobs.wordpress.net

    Thank you for understanding.
