Hi there. I scrolled through many solutions. I’m facing 404 error of autoptimize from past 2 days. I deleted the plugin because my website was broke due to plugin. But after removing I’m still unable to make the site work again. The homepage is fetching deleted cached css file which gives 404 error. How to solve it please guide me through. I’ve cleared cached, deleted the plugin, reinstalled again maybe it could work but no solution.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

re. broken due to plugin; that should be fixable with some troubleshooting, see the AO FAQ for more info. if it is active be sure to tick the ‘404 fallback’ option.

re. homepage still calling autoptimized filed; looks like there still is server cache (see screenshot below). ask your host to clear any cache they might have?

    hope this helps,
    frank

I’ve asked the host to clear the cache but still no change. Also I checked the 404 option still got nothing.

with the caching issue I can’t help, but somewhere something is still caching the HTML :-/

but in order for the 404 option to work you must have “optimize CSS” and “optimize JS” on, else it cannot create the fallback files ??

I don’t know. I think enabling optimize CSS and JS feature along with disabling aggregated feature both for JS and CSS worked. Now server is fetching individual autoptimize cached css files and JS files.
