• Hello! We’ve been using SIQ for several years and are running into a weird issue that came out of nowhere. We are trying to configure several facets on a site, after successfully testing the same facets on an exact clone for testing purposes. Now, facets are refusing to save on live, and the PHP log has these warnings that correlate to when we try to save the data:

WARNING: child 666 said into stderr: "NOTICE: PHP message: PHP Warning: array_merge(): Expected parameter 1 to be an array, null given in /plugins/searchiq/templates/backend/facets.php on line 93"
WARNING: child 666 said into stderr: "NOTICE: PHP message: PHP Warning: array_map(): Expected parameter 2 to be an array, null given in /plugins/searchiq/templates/backend/facets.php on line 96"
WARNING: child 666 said into stderr: "NOTICE: PHP message: PHP Warning: array_merge(): Expected parameter 1 to be an array, null given in /plugins/searchiq/templates/backend/facets.php on line 99"
WARNING: child 666 said into stderr: "NOTICE: PHP message: PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /plugins/searchiq/library/plugin.php on line 2292"
WARNING: child 666 said into stderr: "NOTICE: PHP message: PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /plugins/searchiq/library/plugin.php on line 2292"

We also noticed that the backend of the SIQ dashboard (not the WP site) seems to be a bit slow, and we’ve encountered some errors. Is there any issue going on with the SIQ server right now? Do you have a status page?

If not, any other ideas to troubleshoot this issue would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hi Emma,

We can’t see SearchIQ active on the site https://www.shamrocklabels.com/ and are also unable to find the search engine for this site. Can you please share the SearchIQ account username or associated email on which the site is indexed?

Are you referring to the site ‘https://vistaapex.com/’? If so, we can see facets working on the site. Please check the screenshot. https://prnt.sc/dZ_IE0dg3iHT

vistaapex.com. Yes, they are displaying on the front end, but they are not updating. We’re trying to add additional filters and they are not saving.

Please share the SearchIQ version and WP version installed on your site. Are you facing issue on both dev site and live site? Or the issue is only observed on the live site?

As it’s working fine on the dev site, it seems there is some issue with the production configuration.
Can you please try to reset the configuration, index your site again, and then try creating the facets? Also, is it possible to create a login for us on the dev site so we can check the configuration?

    Hi Emma,

We have tested the ‘product attributes’ facets for SearchIQ version 4.0 on a couple of sites and the field value is showing fine after saving/syncing the facets.
Can you please update the SearchIQ version on the test site and check if the same issue is observed? We have reverted to Jaime’s email.

Hi Emma, please update to the latest version 4.1 and try saving the facets.
