  • I have the same issue now since I have added jetpack to my second site.

    My sites are https://www.offshoreoiljobs.co.uk

and my new site is https://www.engineeringjobs4u.co.uk

Can you let me know if the widget you added is still listed when going to ‘Appearance > Widgets’ from your dashboard?

Yes it is still added. It’s right under the “search” widget in the primary sidebar (on the right side of my page).

Therefore, it would normally be displayed just underneath the search field.

Can you please try inserting the widget in another part of your site and see whether it displays?

Also, can you please try clearing the cache stored by any of your plugins at the same time.

I tried moving it to the very bottom of the sidebar. It definitely moved because I added the title “Facebook” and if you click the title, my Facebook page opens. However, no image or graph appears under the title. I tried moving it to the header widget zone and experienced the same problem.

How can I clear the cache stored by the plugin?

It looks like you’re using WP Super Cache, you can clear the cache by heading to ‘Settings > WP Super Cache > Delete Cache’

Let me know how that goes.

    Hello,

I am having exactly the same problem. Have included the widget in a different location on the website, again just the title displays.
    Have cleared cache, no luck.
Have also deactivated/deleted all other plugins relative to social media just in case there is conflict, no change still.

    Any other ideas?

    Hi lamday,

I tried clearing the cache in WP Super Cache and it didn’t resolve the issue, same as the above user.

    Any other suggestions??

    Hi @mayaivo

Your Facebook widget appears to be pointing to a private Facebook profile: https://www.facebook.com/Info.Naturevolution – unfortunately the widget can only work for pages that are public.

@brugtown – I tried setting your Facebook page in my widget and am not able to get the stream to load as well. Can you please check to see if you’ve set any restrictions for your page under ‘Settings -> General’? If you’ve got either an age or country restriction it could conflict with the widget.

Let me know how you go.

Thank you!! The age restriction on the labs was indeed triggering the issue. The problem has been corrected.
