Facebook thumbnails not working

Hi – I have seen this topic several times and have tried the solutions posted but am not seeing the issue fixed for me.

When I post my blog posts to facebook, no thumbnail or description shows up in the preview, only a generic link to my website (with not thumbnail). Here is what I’ve tried:

– several plugins (yeost, og, facebook og, ultimate social, and most recently open graph meta tags by Heateor. None of these has worked and I’ve uninstalled them all except the last one which I just installed)

– the facebook debugger – every time I enter in the post address it gives me the following warnings:

Inferred Property
The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
Missing Properties
The following required properties are missing: og:url, og:type, og:title, og:image, og:description, fb:app_id
SSL Error
Can’t validate SSL Certificate. Either it is self-signed (which will cause browser warnings) or it is invalid.
Curl Error
Curl error: 60 (SSL_CACERT)

– I have cleared my browser and WP caches several times

– I have even tried copying and pasting code to insert meta tags into my blog but my website crashed because I don’t know what I’m doing!

Please someone help!! This is so frustrating.
