I got this alert from Facebook today:

In 35 days, we’re making a security update to Facebook Login that will invalidate calls from URIs not listed in the Valid OAuth redirect URIs field of your Facebook Login settings.

This update comes in response to malicious activity we saw on our platform, and we want to protect your app or website by requiring a new strict mode for redirect URIs. Take action now to ensure your redirect traffic continues to work. Learn More

Try and add both of these (exactly as pasted below). Remember to change to your domain name

Are you sure these will work? It’s a live client site, so I have to be sure before I do this.

The solution above from mediafill seems to have worked really well for me. Adding the extra two URI’s to my Valid OAuth redirect URIs allows me to use Strict Mode for Redirect URIs and still log into facebook with accesspress social login light.

Hello guys,

I’ve just tried today but I am still getting error from Facebook as below:
Trying following uri:

https://mdbootstrap.com/wp-login.php?apsl_login_id=facebook_check

Error:
This URI is not valid under Strict Mode. Learn more
You can make this URI valid by adding it to the list of valid OAuth redirect URIs above

Any advice?

Hi @dawidadach,

Do you have the latest version of the plugin? If not, update and it should work fine.

I also had to remove the domain I had in the Basic Settings in FB, so now it’s blank.
