I’m using your Facebook OG image tag on a WordPress page and it shows up just fine in Facebook statuses. The dimensions are 630 x 315. However, when I try to use another image with the same dimensions (630 x 315) as an OG image tag on a posts page, here’s what happens in a Facebook status:
There is a blank white box with arrows. I click on an arrow and I get a smaller cropped version of the image instead of the full size version that’s appearing when I post a Facebook status from one of my websites “pages”.

Now I’m getting an Open Graph Object Debugger error message that says I have “More Than One OG URL Specified”. How do I correct that?

When I run the debugger, I get this:

Based on the raw tags, we constructed the following Open Graph properties:
    og:url = https://judygerlach.com/christmas-cards-2/
    og:type = website
    og:title = Christmas Cards
og:image = (shows thumbnail of desired image)
og:description = I just love Christmas cards. When you open your mailbox and find a stack of Christmas cards there, doesn’t it bring a smile to your face? A warm, fuzzy feeling? A little holiday cheer? I say, “Yes!…
    og:updated_time = 1419014106

But right below that box in a box called “When shared, this is what will be included”, the area where the image is supposed to be is white/blank.

OK… some of the issues I’ve figured out. The image I selected in the “Use this image” field is no longer showing up as a blank white space when scraped. I noticed that when my URL was scraped, the debugger listed two OG:image tags: one for the featured header image and one for the image I selected in the “Use this image” field. Is there a way to eliminate the og:image tag for the header image so that when people paste the URL into their status, the header image won’t show up as one of the image options?

We only create one unique og:image tag.

You are also using Jetpack and he’s creating another one. Facebook will see both and let the user chose. That’s a feature ??

If you want a different behavior you just either disable our plugin’s image tag or Jetpack’s one.
