Facebook social commenting not working on mobile and tablet

  • Plugin is great and working nicely, with one (big) problem for me: on mobile phones and tablets, social commenting with Facebook is not working. First, id doesn’t show I am logged in to FB, when I am. I write a comment, I click on Log in to post, and then an infinite redirect occurs between the page and Facebook very quickly, no time even for the pages to load. Using Chrome on mobile, and I am logged into Facebook in another browser tab.
    Tried it on a 7 inch tablet, the same thing happens.
    Is there a solution?

    You need to make sure that cookies are enabled in the browser you are using and there isn’t any browser-extension which is blocking Facebook SDK which renders the Facebook Comments box.

    Cookies are enabled in the browser (otherwise Facebook would not work either, but it does), and the Facebook comments box is rendered properly. It is working as expected on the desktop computer, where it already shows the person’s photo, since he is logged in to Facebook in the same browser, which does not happen in the mobile browser.
    Any other ideas? Unfortunately, if the mobile version is not working, I cannot use the plugin.

    You would like to try Facebook comments at plugin demo website https://super-socializer-wordpress.heateor.com/ using your mobile. I tried in latest version of Google Chrome in Android and found it working fine.
    You can also try commenting at the link https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/comments/#configurator using the same browser and see if the same issue is there.
    Some other users had this issue until they turned pop-ups ON in their browsers.
