Hi, I was havinga problem that facebook was not scraping my posts Featured Image when I wanted to make a facebook update. After I installed the WP Open Graph plugin and tries the facebook Developers Debug tool, I now find that the very first image there is my Featured Image. This is good since earlier the Featured Imafe was not being scraped at all. But even though the Debiugging page now shows the Featured Image as the first of the list of all 10 images on my url, when I am trying to create an update, I am again getting only 3 pictures options to choose from and the Featured Image is not one of them. I tried clearing the Facebook Debug tool cache many times also, but to no avail. The debug tool shows my featured image as the first image, but when I have to create the update only 3 random images from my url are given to me as a selection. Please help?

It’s facebook’s issue. They don’t always display the same data that they scrape. They’ve started doing this since june or july – absolutely nothing I can do about it. If the meta-data in your source from this plugin is correct; the other issues are on FB. But at least twitter, G+ and linkedin still follow what’s in the OG: tags ??

Facebook does their own thing now. It’s annoying but the way it is until they either write better documentation and follow their own guidelines.
