Facebook showing wrong post image when published

I took a look at this post:

and passed it through Facebook’s Debug tool:

Facebook complains that the image isn’t big enough, even though it actually is. This is a bug on Facebook’s side. Try using an image that is bigger; they actually suggest 1200px by 630px now. Try that on your next post, and let me know once you’ve posted, I’ll take a look again.

Thanks for the response. That picture actually went through ok… It’s weird sometimes it works and other times it don’t. I thought there was a issue with the metadata on my end. However I just wasn’t sure how to fix it…

Sometimes its tough to post images that size as i could always try to make them bigger but thats extra work i would like to avoid and plus i wouldn’t want to compromise the image.

Is there an other alternative instead of placing a larger size image in the featured image spot?

Well, not really. It’s all up to Facebook as to what they decide to do with the images, and if you don’t use one that is their suggested size, then they will either pick another image, or Publicize won’t work at all.
