Facebook showing “Quantity to Sell” as 0 for all items

So, after looking at other posts on this topic, we changed the Localized Checkout Method to checkout on another site and it fixed the temporary out of stock issue. Is there a way to change it back to checkout through facebook but not have the inventory show as out of stock?

I understand that the product were out of stock on the Facebook side, then you switched the checkout option and the issue is temporarily fixed.

I’d suggest to run a conflict test on your site. That wil need to switch the site theme to a default theme like Storefront, and disabling all plugins except WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce. i’m having the same issue. this doesn’t seem like a wordpress or woocommerce issue if multiple people are having the same issue.

I understand that the stock settings are not syncing properly. There has been an ongoing report about this issue since 2020. The WooCommerce team has already contacted Facebook to address the problem, but unfortunately, there is no estimated time for when a fix will be released.

I can see some merchants reporting success from this workaround, so I suggest you give it a try.

You can add it to your functions.php file or use a plugin like Code snippet.

I believe there’s a bit of misunderstanding on this thread, please allow me to clarify.

At the moment, Facebook for WooCommerce doesn’t support “Facebook Checkout”, it’s a known issue that selecting it will cause sync issues with the extension. @bhandley as you rightly found, changing the checkout method to website checkout will resolve the issue – since the extension was developed to redirect users to complete purchases on the merchant’s website. (Most WooCommerce merchants want their purchases to be completed on their website, where they have their preferred payment, shipping method, .etc., configured.)

Facebook Checkout is currently not a supported feature and if used, you may not be able to fulfil orders paid on Facebook. (Quantity to Sell field is only available when using Facebook checkout. Otherwise, products are either in stock or out of stock)

We understand this feature is important to some merchants and we are aware of Meta’s upcoming Facebook Shop changes that may require all US Facebook Shops to use Facebook Checkout. We are actively looking into a solution and will keep you updated as we learn more about Facebook’s plans and how they may impact your use of Facebook for WooCommerce.
