facebook sharing button brings you to the mobile website instead of the app

  • On the Meks Easy Social Share plugin:

    When I access my website on an Android mobile device in the Chrome browser,
    clicking on the facebook sharing button brings you to the mobile website instead of the android app.

    Is there any way to change this link to prefer the app over the mobile website?
    Perhaps there is a quick change that can be made in the plugin editor?
