• Hello Team,

I am newly using your plugin, I really like it and appreciate the great job you do.

I am facing a weired problem that everyday after promotion of my website posts, the total shares doesn’t count the facebook shares in all posts.
For instance, it show that Facebook shares are 1K, and twitter shares are 100 shares, but the total is 100 shares.
However, I can see on webpage loading it shows the correct number, but then it changed to only twitter share count.
If I leave it to the next day, it return to work perfectly, How I can solve this problem.
    Thanks

    Hi there,

This happens when Facebook API reaches it’s limit. This plugin uses Facebook graph API to fetch Facebook shares of your webpages and there is a limit imposed by Facebook on how many times that API could be used to fetch shares of a webpage within a specific time-interval. When the API has reached its request-limit, it won’t give any shares and Facebook shares will not be included in the total share count.
You can make these API requests less frequent by specifying greater share count cache refresh time in the Miscellaneous section at plugin options page.

It would be great if the count that you return if the wp_remote_get() gets a 403 is the one from the database instead of setting it into 0.
