Facebook Share Problem. Help!

    Hi,

    I’ve been using WordPress SEO (Yoast) for a long time. But I’ve a problem with Facebook share image since approximately 2-3 months. I searched for this problem and tried the solutions but couldn’t solve it.

    Here is the problem: When I copy-paste the URL or share via the share icons on my website, Facebook doesn’t shows the image, title and the description of the post. Facebook Open Debugger tool shows me Response Code 206. But the not for the all posts.

    Ex: Facebook doesn’t show the image, title and description of this post. But there is no problem for this post. What is the difference between these post I couldn’t find it. Also facebook doesn’t shows the homepage.

    I strained every nerve but couldn’t find any solution. Could you please check it for me and tell me what I sould do?

    I’ve just solved the problem!

    The problem (Response Code 206) occurs because of this WordPress plugin: WP Super Cache. When you activated it, it creates caching codes (rewrite modules) into htaccess file. Just delete the WP Super Cache caching modules from htaccess, and if you need that codes, you can create it manually. After I deleted the codes from htaccess file, everything is working fine and no more 206 errors. When I share a URL from my website in Facebook, image, title and description now shows perfectly.

    I hope it would help who gets the same error.

    I am getting the same error, unfortunately removing the code from htaccess did not correct the problem. I still get the wrong image when I try to share to FB.

    Any suggestions?

    @quailrunphotos I mentioned about not showing post image, title and description. But you have a different problem. For the wrong image problem, you can look at this thread.

    Also, there are lots of threads on www.remarpro.com support forum. You can search for the problem.
