Earlier today, the Facebook share box went from displaying the number of shares to being entirely empty. I’ve used the tool you suggest to get FB to rescrape my site. I cleared my browser cache as well. So far nothing has changed.

I have read that these issues relate to Facebook and not the plugin. But would you have any troubleshooting suggestions beyond using the FB debugging tool and rescrape (which I already tried)?

Facebook’s official share counts API is currently down, returning “Service temporarily unavailable” for all sites. Hopefully Facebook gets this fixed soon.

@micropat are you sure?
other plugins are ok, and if you do the share debugging on every page, facebook shows you the right number of interactions. It’s probably a bug of this plugin.

@monteunebi 100% sure. Share counts come directly from Facebook’s API, and AddToAny hides the share counters when Facebook’s API is down.

@micropat Did you report this issue to Facebook? As I can see here, (https://developers.facebook.com/status/dashboard/) none has done it yet. I can do it, but I’m not a developer in this field. Thanks

@micopat: I would report this but I can’t determine which of my FB apps is the one being used to generate the Addtoany AppID. I also don’t see any AppID in the plugin settings unless I’m missing something when I search there.
