The Facebook “Frontpage settings” section described and shown in the Yoast kb is not present on our sites running the newest version of Yoast (7.2). Instead, all there is under the Facebook tab is the on/off switch for Open Graph, and under that a single section labeled “Default settings” which contains a single field labeled “Image URL”.

Have the Facebook Frontpage settings been moved or eliminated and your documentation is outdated?

The “frontpage settings” for Facebook only appears when using the default blog page as the front page. This means you’re using a custom static page as your front page. Therefore you’ll need to use the Yoast SEO meta box by editing the front page. You can learn more about this here.
