    Dear Smashballoon,

    Thanks for a great plugin!
    There is one thing im missing though.

    Would it be possible to add Facebook reviews to the plugin?
    Would be great if possible to include rating from Facebook including comments from the user that rated stars.

    Would this be possible? Im sure you have had this request before ??

  • Thank you for the compliment and I’m happy to hear the plugin can offer most of what you need. You are correct in stating that we have had this request before but I’m afraid currently the plugin isn’t able to support displaying ratings and reviews.

    It is something our developer has been looking into and will hopefully be able to add it into the plugin in the future. I will be passing your request on to him.

    It is only a month ago, but is there maybe allready news from the including facebook post reviews for this plug in. ??

    Hey Marplas,

    We’re working on this and it’s scheduled for the next major plugin update. Due to the way the Facebook API works it’s a more complicated process to retrieve ratings and reviews than you might imagine and so is taking a little time to implement.

    The request hasn’t fallen on deaf ears though and we’re working to get it added as soon as possible.

    As noted in the conversation above this is something our developer is currently working on. Do you have an email that you would like to send us to be given direct notice when this becomes available? This is a service we are willing to provide to you if you wish.

    Just an update on this feature for those who have expressed interest. Due to the fact that reviews require a separate part of the Facebook API and a specific type of Access Token I felt as though it would be best served to offer this feature as an extension for the Pro version of the plugin. The free version of the plugin isn’t built to accommodate the display of a specific post type like this, as it’s intended only to show the timeline of the page/group. If you’re interested to know when it’s released then just follow us on Facebook or Twitter and an update will be posted when it’s available.

    It is available as a plugin extension which works in conjunction with the premium version. You should be able to find more information about the extension at this link here.
