    Hi,

    I made my first post after the latest update this am. I set a featured image and published. Started to share the link on Facebook and it pulled my default logo, set for when no default image set.

    Went back to the post and set the featured image in the Yoast Facebook block. Saved. Went to Facebook debugger and scraped several times. Cleared the cache and scraped again.

    It still shows the default image and the debugger shows the default location as the og image.

    Any ideas?

    @sportsball Can you please provide us with an example URL of one of pages where you are experiencing this issue so that we can review what the plugin is outputting for the Open Graph metadata?

    Also, can you please confirm you are using the most recent Yoast v14.8? You can learn more about updating here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/

    Can you also confirm you are using WordPress 5.4/5.5? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. @sportsball Thanks for providing the link.

    We checked on the page and reviewed the source code and see that the og:image is being output as the following:

    <meta property="og:image" content="https://www.trackingsharks.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Davis_Ethan_Bahamas_shark_bite.jpg" />

    Can you please confirm whether this is the image you are expecting to see in preview when you share the link?

    We also checked the link in the Facebook sharing debugger here as well and confirmed that both the image, title, and description output in the source code match what is being shown in the debugger (see image here).

    Also, we tested the link on Facebook and the preview we saw there also showed the same image (see image here).

    That is the correct image. Not sure what happened. I tried it several times before starting the thread and again before posting the link in the reply.

    I made a test post this morning and it appears to be working. Not sure what happened. Thank you for the reply.
