    It was working nice until I updated the update this morning. Now I am getting the following message when publishing a new post:

    Failed posting to your Facebook Timeline. Error: {“message”:”Can only modify connections owned by this application”,”type”:”Exception”}

    Any suggestions? I don’t really understand how to do the Open Graph creation thing in FB but it was working until the last update. Thanks.

    OK looks like they are fixing it. there is a pull request to updte the file with the issue:
    https://github.com/dlachapelle/wordpress/commit/a627379f185477892f6f7823456793f16e00d48d
    IF you are ok with code editing see the link and you should be able to correct this.

    I got it to work using the latest release and updating the file.

    Now it is not quite what I expected.

    It is totally working. You will need to edit the Publish Acton in Open Graph to allow for explicit, tags and User Messages. Guys I hope this helps you all.

    For some reason the Author is not passing over. Not sure why yet.

    semfreak, what instructions did you give in the submit for approval process for the User Messages, Tags, and Explicitly Shared capabilities?

    I replaced the code like you suggested semfreak, but now I’ve got a new error message. I think it has to do with the fact that I haven’t allowed for the optional properties explicit tags and user messages. I tried a few weeks ago, and I got rejected. I submitted it again last night, but just for user messages, and I haven’t heard back from them yet. I think they need to do a better job of explaining what they actually expect people to write. The whole thing seems a bit ridiculous to me. They’re the developers, they must already know, and I’m the only one publishing on my blog, so I don’t understand why I need to explain to anybody how to do some self-explanatory thing like write a user message in a user message text box, but I’d be willing to deal with that inconvenience if they would just give me a generic template, where I punch in the information for my site, and it would get approved.

    Ahh that fix the one from semfreak fixed it for me! I did also change my app Open Graph tag etc, I’ve had to resubmit it so dunno if that’s immediate or what.

    Why didn’t the plugin author jump in on this? I have posted a few times but no response. i actually tried it out twice before with postings and then deleted it only to come back to it later just to see if anything was resolved.

    The plugin author is Facebook itself – I traced the problem yesterday and submitted a pull request, so when they review hopefully they’ll release a new version on here. In the meantime, just use the file from my repo:
