Facebook profile photos not found

    Using version 8.7 of the free plugin, I’ve successfully imported reviews from my client’s Facebook page. At first there was no issue, the plugin works great in fact.

    But recently (I’m not sure how long but my guess is since the beginning of 2020), the Facebook profile pictures aren’t showing.

    I removed all reviews and retrieved them again from Facebook. The only review so far from 2020 has a profile picture, but none of the others do.

    I’m guessing this is some kind of date-related bug, but any input you can offer would be appreciated.

    Are you still having trouble? It looks like all the review pics are there now.

    It seems fine now, although I have no idea how..

    I have the same problem, have just redone the connection and the retrieval but images still are not showing.

    @karinlundgren Are the images showing on the Review List page? If so, right-click on one and inspect. Look for the src value of the img tag. What does it say?

    Some are showing in the list (and on the page), others not.

    On one that is showing in the list, it says

    img width=”60px” src=”https://gosbutiken.com/wp-content/uploads/wprevslider/avatars/1544802576_2561515563877285.jpg”

    As far as I can tell all reviews older than december 2018 (the majority) do not have images.

    We have been trying to optimise the site, converting and compressing images etc, buy as far as I can recall we have only worked with the media library images.

    @karinlundgren I would try deleting all the Facebook reviews from the Review List page and re-download. That should refresh images.

    And what do you mean by deleting all the facebook reviews?
    I read somewhere on a closed topic that it might work, can you give step by step instructions?

    I tried to create a second shortcode from scratch, but no matter what i do the images are not visible.

    1) Go to the Review List page inside the plugin.
    2) click the Remove Reviews button at the top.
