Facebook preview not working

    Hi there,

    Ever since I updated the Yoast plugin earlier this week, every single time I try to share a new post on Facebook, it won’t load the preview information. I have reviewed all my plugins and I only remember updating Yoast this week. If I try using the debugger, the Facebook page won’t load either. It doesn’t happen with all posts, only the new ones I’m creating after the update. If I use the Yoast tool to share my own preview, Facebook doesn’t grab it either.

    Here is what the javascript console is saying:
    “Facebook Pixel Warning: Multiple pixels with conflicting versions were detected on this page”.

    We looked at the provided page source code on our end and we can confirm that our plugin is generating the Facebook open graph meta correctly as expected.

    The Javascript error you’re seeing isn’t specific to the Yoast SEO plugin since the Yoast SEO plugin doesn’t add the Facebook pixels code. You’ve probably added multiple Facebook pixel code using any 3rd party plugins or theme. You can find the exact source of the Facebook pixel code by performing the conflict check.

    On the other hand, we were able to see the preview of the provided page by clearing the cache using the Facebook debugger tool → Fetch new scrape information and the preview is now showing correctly as expected.

    If you’re experiencing the same issue with any other pages of your website, please use the Facebook debugger tool to clear the cache.
