    Hi,

After an update i am not able to share a post from my website to fb with my featured image. I tried everything.. The opengraph is enabled and i tried screaping my post in facebook debugger but i always get the message

    Inferred Property
The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
    Missing Properties
    The following required properties are missing: og:url, og:type, og:title, og:image, og:description, fb:app_id

In the page source though the meta tags exist.

    Can someone help?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @maraki84,

We checked the page source and only found the og:image tag, not any of the other required Open Graph and meta tags that we expected to see.

To help us troubleshoot, we’d like to get the following information:

    1. Is the latest version of Yoast SEO (15.3) installed and activated? If not, or if you’re using an outdated version, does updating solve the issue?

    2. Are all your plugins and themes updated? If not, does updating solve the problem?

    3. Can you let us know how you added the Facebook image to the page? Is this the featured image or did you set a Facebook Image in the Yoast SEO metabox under the Social tab?

    4. If you deactivate all other plugins except for Yoast SEO and switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Nineteen, does this make the other required meta tags appear? We have a guide to walk you through checking for conflicts.

    Hi Priscilla,

Thank you for your immediate response. I tried everything you suggested. The truth is i found two problems.

The plugin Webmaster.Net Post Quality Analyzer. Was creating critical errors so i uninstalled it.

And my theme’s header.php i think was damaged, if that can happen, so i completely removed it and reinstalled and it worked!!!!

    Thank you very much,!

    Hi @maraki84,

Thanks for the response! We’re glad to hear that you were able to solve the problem. If there are conflicts with other themes or plugins, we suggest also contacting the plugin or theme developers to see if there is a solution.

We’ll mark this issue as resolved, but you’re welcome to create a new forum topic if you have any other questions.
