• I am having an issue where Facebook doesn’t post the images I have indicated in the social section under “Facebook Image”

The image on this particular post was showing at one time, but now it’s not. I occasionally have this issue with other posts as well. Of course, Facebook won’t allow me to use the debugger tool on it, so what can I do?

I would like to try turning off that feature so that I can use the Facebook debugger tool. Is there a way to do that? Or, do you have another suggestion?

  • I am having the same problem. It was working completely fine before last upgrade of this plugin. Very frustrating for my client. If any one has any simple solutions that does not involve adding something to the functions file I would greatly appreciate that. Thanks.

I figured out what my problem was. I had an SEO setting in my theme that was was turned on. I turned it off, and that fixed the problem. Sometimes that can happen because of a SEO plugin too, but I use WordPress SEO by Yoast, and it’s not causing a problem. So, the problem was a setting in my theme. – Hope this helps.

I already posted – og.image is totaly broken in the current release. This plugin is useless now if you share anything on facebook.

I’m having resizing issues. I can see the image, but now sure how to see if it big or the small version. Anyone know how to see what it will look like in the news feed after posted?

Having the same issue, facebook is defaulting the image to an ad. I have set up default picture and not using that one either. I have even gone in and enter the picture url in the seo setting on the actual post. Facebook still picking up the same picture. Very annoying, Now I have to delete the post on Facebook and do Facebook post individally. Which defeats the purpose of the sharing function. Google and linkedin have no problems
