Facebook post (image) likes not synced on wp site

    You don’t have clear understanding of how the Facebook works.

    They have “Like” button for all kinds of objects. You can “Like” items on Facebook.com as well external resources.

    When you make text only posts, attached link posts or image posts, you create an object on facebook.com and when people click “Like” they like that object inside Facebook.

    The only object that will show “likes” back on your site/actual post is “Share a link to your blogpost”, because in that case you are not creating object on facebook.com, you just share your original link.
