• Hi we are seeing “pixel issue” warnings and the specific warning message is as follows: –

“You’re sending the same event ID for many instances of your Purchase events. Event IDs are unique identifiers that are used to deduplicate identical events received from your pixel and the Conversions API so they’re not counted twice. To ensure Facebook is accurately counting your events, each unique event instance needs its own unique event ID.
This may cause issues with the measurement of your events and the attribution of your ad campaigns.”

We have both the pixel and server side tracking enabled on the plugin.

Does anyone have any ideas how we can fix this in caffeine pixel?

PS reading the facebook help page it advises: –

For events to be deduplicated, you or your developer should add 2 event parameters that help us determine if the events are the same: the event name (for example, Purchase or AddToCart) and the event ID.

I thought both the event name and event ID were automatically sent with this plugin….is this not the case?
