    Hi,

We are having difficulties with extra tracking purchases on our site, yet we only have product feed pro enabled with the pixel. No third party facebook plugin, nor any tag manager code on our site. We can see in google analytics as well as our backend with purchases that the purchase data sent to facebook ads is slightly higher – about 1.5 purchases per user. Have you encountered a similar problem or?

    Kind regards
    Michael

  • Hi Michael,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. I am not entirely sure what you mean, are you saying that the Facebook pixel is measuring 1.5 times the actual amount of sales?

    Hi,

Yes, we are having issues with additional tracking. It could also be occasional double tracking for some visitors but not all. We can see is that the number of sales in our backend, and the sales displayed in Facebook do not match up. Analytics also shows a difference in the amount of sales from facebook – tracked by the pixel. We checked the purchase event to see if it was fired twice, but it is not, and as we only use product feed pro for the pixel, we are looking into, whether this is the cause.

    In addition:

In our Database Option tables, we have 2 huge tables from Product Feed Pro on autoload:
    cron_projects and batch_project_LWhO9EThemRfRqsSkYVRlp7tYDYzIQDx and channel_statics

Can these be set as not to auto-load or emptied? Can you maybe specify the exact functions of these 3 tables?
