Hi there,
You can inject the pixel code striaght in the head. There will be no problem in tracking the leads.
The Facebook pixel triggers on each page visit with this part of the code: fbq('track', 'PageView');
including the page with the form. This tracking is included in the standard Facebook pixel code:
<!-- Facebook Pixel Code -->
<script>
!function(f,b,e,v,n,t,s){if(f.fbq)return;n=f.fbq=function(){n.callMethod?
n.callMethod.apply(n,arguments):n.queue.push(arguments)};if(!f._fbq)f._fbq=n;
n.push=n;n.loaded=!0;n.version='2.0';n.queue=[];t=b.createElement(e);t.async=!0;
t.src=v;s=b.getElementsByTagName(e)[0];s.parentNode.insertBefore(t,s)}(window,
document,'script','https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/fbevents.js');
fbq('init', '1234567890'); // Insert your pixel ID here.
fbq('track', 'PageView');
</script>
<noscript><img height="1" width="1" style="display:none"
src="https://www.facebook.com/tr?id=1234567890&ev=PageView&noscript=1"
/></noscript>
<!-- DO NOT MODIFY -->
<!-- End Facebook Pixel Code -->
Additionaly with our plugin when the form is submitted correctly, we send the fbq('track', 'Lead');
tracking command. So that Facebook registers the “page view” and if the form is submitted correctly also a “lead”.
On pages without contact form the Facebook pixel only registers the “page view”.
So no special setting in Facebook needed and everything should work correctly if you insert the pixel in the header of all pages.
Best regards from Spain.
