Facebook OG not working

  • I was having the same issue, and I found a fix (though not ideal) that worked for me.

    In SEO->Social->Facebook, I had connected myself as an admin under “Facebook Insights and Admins.” When I disconnected my account, the data pulled in just fine. I still had the box checked for “Add open graph meta data.”

    I was having the same issue. I found if I went to SEO > Social > Facebook, then unticked “Add Open Graph meta data” and hit Save Changes… then ticked “Add Open Graph meta data” and hit Save Changes then I found some things worked.

    But I still have to keep going to Facebook’s debug/linter
    https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug, then enter page address, hit Debug, and then hit Fetch New Scrape Information.

    But it’s less than ideal. Would love some help Yoast please.
