    Hi,
I need help again. I have upgraded Yoast SEO to Version 5.3.3.
When I selected Social –> Facebook but I still can’t see Social configuration to change the title and description. I only manage to see Default Settings (it has only image URL) and Facebook Insight Admins (which I didn’t add yet). Is there anything I am missing?

    Thanks.

Did you add pages/posts specific Facebook title, description, and image? If not, please refer to our this guide which shows exactly how to go about doing this.

Hi, I did exactly the steps.
I click on Yoast – Social. Under Facebook tab, I don’t see Frontpage Settings. It shows immediately Default Settings.

    Hi,

We understand you want to change the title and description for Facebook. In the SEO->Social settings only a default Facebook image can be selected. Yoast does not have a default title and description for Facebook.

Instead, what needs to happen is that the Facebook title and description must be set on each post/page. You will have to edit those fields to change the Facebook title and description. This guide here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/custom-open-graph-tags/#posts explains more about how to set a Facebook Title and Description for each page.

In addition, the Facebook Title and Description are different from the Title and Meta Description which is what appears in a Google Search. If you wish to configure those for your frontpage you should go to SEO->Titles and Metas->Homepage and either enter content into the fields or click on the link which will take you to the frontpage and then click “Edit Snippet”. This will then allow you to enter content into the Title and Meta Description fields. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/titles-and-meta-descriptions/

    Hi,
I did the custom open graph tags by inserting the contents into the field.
However, when I turn over to Facebook’s Object Debugger to fetch new scrape information, og:description is not showing what I edited into the updated field earlier.

In SEO -> Titles and Metas -> Homepage, there is no fields I could enter the content. It only displays the following options:

    Homepage & Front page

You can determine the title and description for the front page by editing the front page itself ?

Here’s the address to the page I am developing. May be you can see something in source code there.

When you’re using a custom static front page, you’ll need to edit the front page from the Pages options. By editing the front page, you should be able to add the custom data for social media.
