    Hi @ctheory11,

What version of the plugin are you using?

Did you try connecting to your page in the Settings screen? If you do, you can skip the RSS and publish articles directly by simply re-saving them.

    Does that work for you?

    Thanks for your help!

    I’m on 2.7.

I’m connected to the page in the settings screen, and I’ve re-saved articles dozens of times. One at a time for a half hour straight, until I realized I could do it in bulk.

    It says:

Success! Your Instant Articles plugin has been activated.

    Your app is xxxx
    Your page is Passive Promotion

I noticed when I signed up for Facebook Audience Network, it created a new app for Instant Articles. Should I connect to that one instead?

Any other ideas? I feel like I’ve tried everything.

@diegocuinteiro This is happening for me too, when you say resaving articles, you mean
open an article in wordpress, click udpate?

*Never mind, I tried it and it works

Glad it works for you @silfiriel!

I’m still waiting for some ideas. I’ve sunk so much time into this, I don’t know where to go from here.

@ctheory11 did you try opening a post in full edot mode and updating?
Beacuse resaving in quick edit or in bulk doesn’t work, or if it imports something it says “instant article is empty”
Sorry, I can’t help you. It looks like you’ve done everything right, but something in the backend is preventing the pkugin to work as it should.

Just updated to version 2.8 of the plugin, saved a post in full edit mode, and it worked!

At least I think it worked. When I edit the article, it shows HTML. Is that correct?

So I need to open 50 articles, one at a time, and save them? Is there any shortcut?

Yes, the HTML is correct. You can see how the post looks only in the Facebook Pages Manager app for iOS or Android.

There’s no shortcut, 50 posts are not a lot, make sure if there are images in the posts, the featured image to be different than the first jmage in the post.

I to am having issues with the “Quick Edit”!

As I understand it, we should be able to use the plugin without the need of the RSS feed.
As the plugin connects directly via the API. It’s obviously a lot more efficient using the API as an update is only triggered when a change occurs.
However, doing the Quick Edit trick to get the initial 50 up, i just get empty articles.

I can confirm that going into a post and updating it that way works.

However, I don’t have the time to go through 50 articles across 20+ sites publishing each one individually, i would be here for days! As would a lot of people.

Any sight of a fix for this?
    Cheers!

Just logged in today, and it sucked some in from the RSS feed, and others “direct” I guess.

    Thanks again for your help!
