    Hi,

    we have linked our WooCommerce Store to our Facebook page and also enabled the Messenger chat bot so anyone on the website can ask a question through the bot. However, until the user accepts marketing cookies the messenger chat bot does not appear on the website and this is causing an issue.

    The Messenger Chat is a functional feature rather than a marketing feature so need to use it but can’t find anyway for Complianz to allow it and the user will not generally know to allow marketing cookies in order to even see it.

    Hi @ange1970,

    You can disable Facebook under Complianz – Integrations – Service to let it show up before consent.

    A bit more information; Facebook is not considered a functional feature, although it might be essential to your website and business. Considering privacy laws, Facebook will be considered a 3rd party that collects personal data, and therefore will be regarded as Marketing/Third Party.
