Facebook message regarding ‘user_friends’ access

Today I got a message saying the permission issue of user_freinds. Is this permission still required to publish using social media auto publish ?

As of September 4, 2019, Social Media Auto Share will no longer have access to the following permissions or features:

user_friends

Depending on the needs of your app, you will need to take one of the following steps:

If your app still needs access to these permissions or features, you can create a new request and submit for App Review before the deadline.

If you already have a pending request, you’ll first need to complete or cancel that submission before you can create a new request and submit for App Review.

If you no longer need access, no further action is required.
