    Hi,

I have configured the Facebook app and settings for Nextend Social Login. But whenever I try to login, I’m getting this error “Feature Unavailable: Facebook Login is currently unavailable for this app.” https://ibb.co/y8pCZpV

    How can I solve this?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi @amarmustaqim

This problem can usually occur if you didn’t add the “Facebook Login” product to your Facebook App as it is described in the 8th step of our Facebook – Getting Started page.
If it is missing indeed, could you add it please and configure it as we suggest in the Getting Started?

If you have already added the “Facebook Login” product to your App and you configured it as it was suggested, then this problem can also occur when you didn’t create your App with the “Consumer” App Type, but something else. You can confirm this by opening your App, and check the App type. If it says:
    App Type: Consumer
then that is fine, otherwise you will need to create an App with the Consumer App Type, as only that can be used for social login purposes.

( Note: if you created your App recently, then the “Consumer” option was probably called “Build Connected Experience”. )

    Best regards,
    Laszlo.

    Hi @laszloszalvak ,

Thank you for your help. I have create a new Facebook App with the Consumer App Type, but I’m getting this user registration error after I tried to login using Facebook, https://ibb.co/HByvncQ

How to enable the user registration? Am I missing something?

    Hi @amarmustaqim

By default Nextend Social Login inherits the WordPress – Membership settings ( WordPress admin menu side bar > Settings > General > Membeship – Anyone can register )
This means if you have that setting disabled, the registration won’t be enabled with Nextend Social Login either.

If you would like to avoid this behavior and only enable the registration with Nextend Social Login, regardless of your WordPress settings, then you should navigate to:
Nextend Social Login >Global Settings > General tab > Membership
    and change it to “Enabled”:
