Facebook like overlay not working?

I checked the plugin again on my test site and it works fine. Can I see your website? So I can check for any errors in your Theme CSS.

The plugin works fine on Safari from my machine, but I have users reporting the Facebook Sliver as well.

seems to work for firefox, chrome and safari on mac os after clearing cache

Same here. I installed this plugin n my demo site, but Facebook like button doesn’t work. Tested on Firefox 27.
